Building up my book illustration portfolio

So for the past few months i have been busily sketching away, drawing out lots of illustrations from my favourite books to slowly build up my portfolio for book illustration. One of the books i am illustrating is 'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe', one of my all time favourite stories. I had a little spare time and did this little pencil sketch to see if my pose for Aslan in the battle scene looked ok. I'm really pleased with how it looks and i think i'm ready to start my favourite part, painting........
